Futher foreign invaders from those such as the Greeks, Huns, Scythains, as well as others, who conquere parts of India, are integrated in the Kshatria Varna, which were the warrior castes. Communities before the arrival of the Aryans were usually integrated into the Sudra Varna, or even outcasted. The Brahman's importance of purity and ''cleanliness'' lead to these order of conducts, since they believed diseases could also spread throughout the air. Formation of Jats and Place in Society In India, the son inherits the father's profession. As a result, families develope family professions through generations, as the father's profession passed from father to son. Larger families, seen as communities, were called in the Indian language, Jat. Different families possessing the same skill or profession formed these Jats. The professions of these Jats were the primary reason of their incorporation into different varnas. The caste system, implemented after the settling of the Aryans, proved to be effective in categorizing different people into different groups, or Varnas, based on their skin color, job, and even parent's Varna. A System to Last for Ages We believe that this system will continue to thrive, for the next hundred, even thousands of years! It's an effective way in organizing our society and people. |
